Abstract
- The article announces the East Asian Art programme at the University of Chicago in Illinois regarding the international research project on Chinese art and archaeology from the third to sixth centuries. It says that the project aims to hold three international conferences for 1999 to 2000 and eventually publish three volumes of proceedings on historical and archaeological art of the period. The project selection for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture is also discussed.
