Abstract
- The article offers a comparison of parliamentary voting on European issues in Great Britain and France. In this paper, the recent roll-call votes in the French National Assembly and the British House of Commons were examined to see whether European integration issues continue to dichotomize both left and right internally, and to identify whether these divisions break up the far left from the moderate left and the far right from the moderate right. It is posed that findings confirm that European issues split up both left and right internally in both legislative setting.
