Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the International Academic Conference on Underground Space held on November 18-19, 2006 in Beijing, China, organized by the China Civil Engineering Society (CCES), Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME) and Urban Planning Society of China (UPSC). The conferences features academic paper communication, an exhibition on urban underground space planning, and an exhibition on examples of large urban underground spaces.
