Abstract
- The article reports on the association between psychological stress and the progression of cancer. According to Steven Cole, a cancer biologist at the University of California-Los Angeles School of Medicine, there is no good evidence that stress causes cancer but the proof for the disease progression is stronger. On the other hand, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and the sympathetic nervous system were the system of the body which were found to be involve in stress.
