Abstract

The article presents an analysis on the origin of Bethel inscribed stamp. The Bethel inscribed stamp was unearthed in 1957 by James L Kelso at Tel Beitîn, north of Jerusalem. The inscription was photographed and published by Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Bent. Several historians scrutinized the discovery by the Bents, including of 1973 Cleveland's theory.
