The Primary and Secondary Prevention of Coronary Artery Disease: American College of Chest Physicians Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guidelines (8th Edition).

The article focuses on different chronic coronary artery disease (CAD) and antithrombotic schemes made for the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular cases. Recommendations including the intake of daily oral aspirin for patients with non―ST-segment elevation (NSTE)-acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and clopidogel as monotherapy for patients with contraindications to aspirin were also discussed.
