Abstract
- The author discusses a series of articles published in the current and previous issues that have examined how architectural history is taught throughout the world. The author offers his opinion on what the accumulation of this knowledge has brought to architectural history. The author notes that certain factors appear to have influenced the teaching of architectural history in all the countries examined including the impact of regional and national identity with nation and empire building.
