Abstract
- The article presents a study which investigated parent-school relationships emerging from increased parental involvement during the period of consultation on the Education Bill of School-Based Management in Hong Kong, China from 2003 to 2004. This interpretive and exploratory study also theorized parent-school partnerships emerging in three case study schools of this qualitative research. Also presented is a review of the literature on parent-school partnerships which offered references for the interpretive analysis of the descriptive data collected.
