Guest Editorial.

Information on the 11th International Conference on Ferroelectric Liquid Crystals in Hokkaido, Japan from September 3-8, 2007 is presented. He asserts that before the conference, five tutorials were given. He notes that the conference was attended by 160 participants who gave oral and poster presentations on polar liquid crystals. He acknowledges the support of several companies, committee members and students who made the conference possible.
