Abstract

The article presents a study which aims to raise various issues involved in the setting and running of project work in planning education. The authors hope to stimulate further discussion towards more effective project work in the education of planners. Learning through simulation of real world decision making. Moreover, planning is decision-making and it is generally accepted that the making of decisions cannot be learnt from formal study alone. However, the study of decision-making theory, decision-making techniques and organisational theory is helpful and essential.
