Abstract

The article presents a study on individuals' personality in relation to the achievement or progress in university training for professional academic qualifications in Town and Country Planning in Great Britain. Research reveals implications on problems in teaching methodology, examining techniques, and student counseling in higher education. As noted in the study, a person who lacks character stability and self-control, poor self-esteem and self-respect possesses inter-personal problems. It further asserts that producing successful Town and Country Planners stems from individuals who are open to criticism and receive various aspects of vocational training. Findings in the study traced the significant relationships between personality characteristics and vocational training achievements.
