Abstract
- The article discusses the volatisation and the competing processes computed for a pesticide applied to plants in a wind tunnel system which were stimulated with the computation model. The resulting thickness of air boundary layer, rate of plant penetration and rate of phototransformation were compared with diverse literature data. The study shows that the computer simulation of wind tunnel experiments yields values for the rate coefficients of processes at the plant surface. There were also attempts to estimate the missing parameter values based on continued divergent experimental results.
