The article discusses the challenges faced by the bioscience sector in New Orleans, Louisiana as it comprises diverse entities such as universities and medical institutions to private corporations and startup entrepreneurs. Each of entity has goals and plans that make it difficult to see the benefit of changing their plans to advance the whole. However, the New Orleans Regional Bioscience Initiative hopes to establish cooperation and collaboration at the top of the sector's priorities.
