Abstract
- The article reports on the launch of the Scopus Journal Analyzer by Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer reviewed literature. The Scopus Journal Analyzer is a new feature available to all subscribers that enables users to evaluate and compare journals using article and citation data. It provides researchers and librarians with an overview of the performance of individual journals. Further, it simplifies the decision making process among researchers who are in continuous need of journal comparison while making decisions as to whether or not publish a journal, which journals to track for research purposes or whether to review manuscripts or join editorial boards.
