Abstract
- The article reports on the issue of lowering insect thresholds because of high hay prices in the U.S. Mark Sulc, Ohio State University extension forage specialist, said that entomologists don't really know whether they would recommend lowering insect thresholds because of hay's higher value. He said that scientists also do not want to adjust thresholds down because most of them are already on the conservative side.
