Abstract

The article reports on the result of the study which assesses the effectiveness of wetting agents in enhancing soil moisture of creeping bentgrass in golf courses during summer in the U.S. It has evaluated creeping bentgrass during the summer with the application of wetting agents as well as liquid and granular potassium (K) fertilizers into the soil. The study reveals that turf quality was achieved to turfgrasses applied with granular K, and the agents promote high content of soil moisture.
