Abstract
- Information about several papers discussed at the XVII General Assembly of the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS) held in Washington, D.C. in October 1970 is presented. The topics included the promotion of the study of biological sciences in the widest sense of the word and the initiation of research that demands international cooperation. The event has featured several speakers including H. Kihara, Kenneth Thimann and C. H. Waddington.
