Abstract
- The article offers information on Chenopodium rubrum L., a biological flora of the British Isles. It offers a physical description of the plant and lists some of the varieties that can be found in Great Britain, including pseudo-botryoide and spathulatum. Information is also provided on the plant's geographical and altitudinal distribution, habitat, communities, response to biotic factors, gregariousness, morphology, phenology, flowering biology and history. Data on the mineral composition of C. rubrum compared with that of two other species of Chenopodium is provided.
