Abstract

The article presents a study that examined the logarithmic series and its possible application to biological problems. It discusses the mathematical properties of the series and the various methods used that fit a logarithmic series to a particular known biological data. The author also notes the importance of knowing that random sampling may occur by units of by groups. Moreover, a summary of biological application of the logarithmic series and formulae connected with the series are also provided.
