Abstract
- The article presents a study about the dry evergreen formations in Jamaica focusing on the raised coral beaches of the north coast. This paper investigated the habitat and gives description about the formations present in the littoral rock pavement vegetations, hedges, bushlands, and palm thicket. Raised terraces of coral-reef rock in different points and elevations around the Jamaican coasts were reviewed for their physical characteristics that affect the evergreen formations. Results are discussed in brief.
