Abstract

The article presents a discussion about the observations gathered about the existence of Theobroma Cacao in the island of Fernando Po. The article explores the effectivity of the fungicide control of cacao black-pod disease or the Phytophthora palmivora and analyzes other aspects of cacao yields, cultivation, and ecological climate. It compares cacao epiphytes observations in Nigeria to the general ecology of cacao cultivation in the said island. The article is also supplemented with information about geography, climate, parasitic and epiphytic plants, and the effect of rainfall to the cacao.
