Abstract
- Information about the International Water for Peace Conference held at the Sheraton-Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. in May 1967 is presented. U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson delivered a speech during the conference. Johnson said that the main feature of the water crisis is maldistribution rather than short supply. H.C.H. Armstead, an expert on geothermal energy, said that hot springs should be tapped as sources of water and heat.
