Abstract
- The article presents an analysis of the features of plant communities on Table Mountain in South Africa. The analysis has found that the plant communities have large and varied population, and that individual plant species are in most cases not evenly distributed through the area of the community. Using the sample quadrat method, the authors were able to classify the species in accordance with Raunkiaer's life-form and leaf-size classes. It relates the findings of the examination of stages in succession.
