Abstract

The article offers information on conclusions appearing in the research paper "Results of an Evaluation of High School and University Biology Instruction (1960- 1966)." The first conclusion states that the curricula of the newer high school biology courses are oriented more toward the subject matter and less toward the learner and the society. The second conclusion mentions that the approach or method of instruction which is used in the newer high school biology courses curricula, is more inductive and less deductive than that in the curricula of the traditional high school biology courses. The third conclusion discusses about the orientation of the curricula of the newer university introductory courses in biology.
