Abstract

The article offers information on microbial heat resistance and its effect when applied with acidic and alkalinic substances. According to a study conducted by Henry Charlton Bastian, Professor of Pathological Anatomy at the University College in London, England, that 100 degres centigrade is enough to subdue to most of the microbial germs and through his experimentation by boiling urine for about 100 degrees, his hypothesis was supported by his experiment that most of the microbial germs can no longer withstand the heat for about 100 degrees, thus their resiliency have limitation.
