Abstract: The article presents information on various meetings related to biological sciences. The First Herpetological Conference of the USSR, conducted during October 12-14, 1964 in Leningrad was of special interest to herpetologists all over the world. Employed as a measure of the present status of herpetology in Russia, it revealed that the herpetologists in nontaxonomic areas are conspicuously paralleled in Russia. The Third International Congress of Radiation Research will be held in Italy during June 26-July 2, 1966. The Congress will be focusing on the physical, chemical, and biological effects of ionizing radiations. The Plant Phenolic Group of North America will hold its Sixth Annual Meeting during April 6-8, 1966 at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
