Abstract

The article addresses the pesticide problem in the ecosystem. It discusses the nature of a definition of terms concerning ecosystem and pesticides. It examines the interaction of pesticides and ecosystem. It enumerates various social units that play important roles in the human ecosystem web. It depicts the communication or cooperation between and among these social units and therefore opens the door to lights which can add meaningfulness to the present pesticide controversy. Finally, it reveals that the major social problem is not to be resolved solely by further efforts to facilitate the communication of sound scientific knowledge.
