The article reports on the introduction of a student-centered campaign of the University of Vermont (UMV) Libraries which aims to promote their Ask a Librarian services. The library science and reference services program will meet the needs of UMV's student user population, through the use of a collaborative design and social networking tools. The UVM Libraries have decided to place an advertising campaign in the student handbook which featured photographs of students and the Web site address of the program.
