Abstract

The article discusses the case of the 76-year-old patient with acute onset of vertigo and ataxia which was manisfested though temporal headaches and jaw claudication. MRI result shows that there is a reversible vertebral artery stenosis following corticotherapy in giant cell arteritis. Arterial lesions will reversed following 10 days of oral prednisone (60 mg) and anti-coagulation. An image of the MRI result is also presented.
