Ranke: History as Worship.

The article presents the perceptions of modern founding father Leopold von Ranke on historicism. He viewed the critical history based on the study of theology, philosophy, literature and classical language. He also believes that history is the prime form of worship. His activities such as writing novels and poetry, as well as propagandizing and philosophizing have represented self-scrutiny and criticism that make an accurate history.
