Abstract
- The article focuses on the conversion of FiberMark Inc.'s manufacturing operations at its Brattleboro, Vermont headquarters to 100% used vegetable oil. The move made the company the first manufacturer in the state to generate part of its process energy from waste biofuel. The green steam produced by vegetable oil is used by the company's paper machine turbine to dry its papers and provides heat for the plant.
