Abstract
- The article focuses on the effectiveness of digital strategy in preserving national music collections at the Alexander Turnbull Library in New Zealand. The study discovers that the Turnbull Library used digital strategy in reviewing and processing musical collection to ensure confidence to collect and manage with accurate digital musical resources. It cites that the library venture into two strands for digitization such as timeframes for the illustrative items and the project-based paper past for the digitising newspapers. It concludes that digitization approach creates an effective impact towards the improvement of the library's collection management.
