Abstract
- The article focuses on the possible influence that may enhance the beneficial effects of locomotor training and on the physiological changes in locomotor-related, spinal pathways resulting from acute cycling training in healthy humans. The role of central pattern generator (CPG) in walking and the cortical influences on CPG are discussed. It also looks on the effectives of active and passive cycling on locomotor function.
