Abstract

An interview with William Herbst of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut is presented. When asked about the significance of the discovery of KH15D star on his study, he claims that he and his colleagues have searched for stars with odd behaviors using the geometry of the system surrounding the star. He cites that KH15D star is a winking star because it transforms from normal brightness to undetectable during course of single day. He also explores the challenges in doing the research.
