CHASING THE DOLLAR.

The article examines the affect of the fall in value of the American dollar on the music trade and sound recording industry. U.S. companies in these international business enterprises have seen their revenues abroad, which are paid to them in dollars, lose value. At the same time, however, this creates an incentive for these firms to invest their foreign profits abroad in other currencies.
