Abstract

The author reflects on the importance of criticism in the works of artists. The author views the importance of criticism in artists as perhaps the fact that it presents to the creator a problem which is never solved. For criticism is a configuration of responses and reactions so intricate, so kaleidoscopic, that it would be as simple to categorize itself. He suggests that artists should hold criticisms as part of their adventure.
