Abstract

The article cites a study on the blood glucose responses of type-2 diabetics during and after exercise performed at intensities above and below anaerobic threshold (AT). It revealed that exercise perform at the higher intensity ensued in a tendency of marked and sustained hypoglycemic effect during and after exercise. It also showed an alternative intensity for glycemic control in type 2 diabetics who don't have cardiovascular complications or reasons to exercise at intensities above the AT.
