Abstract

The article reports on the ethical issues of information technology (IT), the impact of education on the ethical decision-making outcomes of adult learners in particular. It provides answers to the research question "Does IT ethics education make a difference?" and "Do ethics courses influence decisions regarding IT ethical issues in adult learners?" Findings show that graduate students who took IT ethics courses made different decisions than those made at the start of the term. It discusses the implications for IT ethics education and future research in the area.
