- Examines eight hypotheses on the factors blamed for increased earnings inequality in Canada in the 1980s. Decline in unionization, minimum wages and industrialization; Increase in unemployment, trade, supply of university-educated workers and female workers and technological changes; Importance of considering multidimensional explanations.
