Abstract
- This section offers news briefs concerning the information services industry in the U.S. as of December 2007. FT.com, the Internet site of the newspaper "The Financial Times," announced that articles and data will be free for users. The Boston Library Consortium Inc. announced a major partnership with the Open Content Alliance to build a freely accessible library of digital materials. Columbia Law School in New York City and the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder launched a Web site called AltLaw.org.
