Abstract
- The article reports on the plan of Network Rail Ltd. in Great Britain to dispose its Class 101, 121 and 122 vehicles. It is argued that if the vehicles are to remain in service after 2007, then it would require costly safety modifications. Furthermore, it cites that the company has other elderly trains including 3 Class 121 and 1 Class 122 single cars and 2 Class 101 twins.
