Abstract
- Relativistic quantum dynamics and high-energy reactions of electrons and positrons in strong laser fields are studied by theoretical means. The laser-driven phenomena addressed comprise propagation of an electronic wave packet, microscopic electron-positron collisions, and muon pair creation from a positronium atom. By way of these examples we demonstrate a variety of computational methods employed in this field of theoretical physics and discuss their respective applicability ranges. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
