THE RE-ELECTION OF FRANCOIS MITTERRAND: THE 1988 FRENCH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

The article looks at the 1988 presidential election in France and the reelection of President François Mitterrand. According to the author, the last two years of rule of the left-wing were notable for a power sharing phase incorporating Mitterrand and the right-wing parliamentary majority realized by the 1986 legislative election.
