Abstract
- The author comments on the outcomes of the 2007 Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) National Architecture Awards. He claims that a number of awards across several categories indicate the social responsibilities of the profession. He cites two themes that represent two facets of architectural ideas that interact to provide tension in the shaping of the country's architecture. He mentions three awarded residential schemes.
