Public Libraries in Kuwait: A Study of Their Resources, Facilities and Services.

The study summarizes the development of public libraries and reviews key studies on public librarianship in Kuwait. The field study assesses the public library system including its organizational structure, collections, facilities and equipment, information services, access, personnel, problems facing public libraries, and the librarians' awareness of policies, job descriptions and career development opportunities.
