I-35W contract awarded, designs unveiled.

Abstract
- The article reports that a $243 million contract for rebuilding the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis has been awarded by the Minnesota Department of Transportation to a team including Flatiron Constructors, in joint venture with Manson Construction. Also on the team is Johnson Bros. in a support role, and Figg Bridge Engineers as lead designer. Flatiron-Manson project manager Peter Sanderson says that the team hoped to start work on the new St. Anthony Falls Bridge, as it is called, by November 1, 2007 and complete work by Christmas Eve 2008.
