The article discusses the issues regarding the politics of corporate governance in Great Britain. According to the author, there are several issues related to corporate governance including the structure and functioning of boards of directors, reporting to shareholders and the ways in which shareholders use their power. However, the discussion and debate on corporate governance issues which bear upon business performance and cultural factors have received less attention and is confined only in a limited circle.
