Depression and general health.

The article presents the research of the World Health Organization that explores the need to consider the presence of depression when patients present a chronic physical condition. The research shows that people with depression have poorer health than those with chronic physical conditions, while people with these two conditions have the worst health of all. Meanwhile, it notes that the research was made possible by using 245,404 participants from 60 countries.
