Abstract
- The article discusses the role of turbulence in the transport of ozone into polar ozone holes. The Navier-Stokes equation is the starting point for modeling turbulence, although final results are highly dependent upon initial conditions. Ozone transport can be significantly affected by the interaction of turbulence and shear.
