The Literature on Privatization.

The article examines some problems that are particularly suitable to continue research activities by political scientists. The early literature is definitely out to prove the case of privatization by way of argument, while the more recent books use empirical evidence to evaluate the possible merits of privatization. Some of the literature focuses on a discussion of the comparative advantage of private and public organization of goods production and service provision in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
